The Canadian Automobile Dealers Association is pleased to announce the creation of the Richard C. Gauthier CADA Scholarship for students enrolled in the Automotive Business School of Canada, Bachelor of Business Automotive Management program through Georgian College.
Rick has been a tireless supporter of the ABSC, having represented the CADA on the Board of Directors for almost two decades. Rick has been active as a guest speaker and lecturer on countless occasions and has devoted inestimable hours with students and staff over that time. In addition Rick was instrumental in working with the Board and the College in developing the four-year Automotive Business Degree Program, the re-branding of the school from the Canadian Automotive Institute to the ABSC, and most recently, has been very involved in the formation of the new Automotive Dealership Management Program. This program has been launched and is already recognised by many OEMs in Canada.
When the decision was announced by the CADA Chairman Harry Mertin to the Board of Directors of CADA and Provincial Association Executives, it was met with enthusiastic and unanimous support.
